After my divorce I was asked on dates by men ranging in age from 19–50! (I was 40 at the time). I dated a number of men in their 20's and it was great. I was feeling a bit confused by all the younger male attention though, so I asked a guy friend in his 20's if it was because of some kind of MILF fantasy. He had a great reply, “MILF and Cougar are characters. No guy should call a woman either of those names. That’s like treating women as characters in a porno and it’s not okay.”
I’m engaged now (at 41) to a 29-year-old wonderful man. Initially the 11.5 year age gap bothered us a bit but now we hardly even think about it. Funnily, my neighbor just got engaged to a man 24 years younger than her so our 11 years seems like nothing!
