I don’t think we can avoid it. AI will result in less available writing careers. When grammarly came out it quickly killed proofreading jobs and I think this will be similar. Most general content and services pieces will be written using AI. Creative writing and personal essays (I hope) will still be outlets for human writers, but I imagine there’ll be far less work overall. Time for us to adapt, as we always do when technological advances change the job market.
