I ended up sewing a lot of my two girls' clothes when they were little because what they wanted to wear wasn't available. They wanted green and orange and frills and big skirts. Little pink tshirts and pink or pale yellow tights were the fashion. They both hated pink. Thankfully, there's a wider variety now that they're teens and they've been able to find what they like.
