I started perimenopause at around 40. I had no idea what was going on so I started writing about it for a women's magazine to feed my own need for knowledge. (Thankfully it's getting easier to find information now that menopause is being talked about more!). I'm 44 now and it looks like I'm possibly in early menopause with no period for 244 days. Who would know? It's all a crazy mystery until it's over.
