I’m participating in nano this year and finding it really helpful. Of course, I’ll be thinking of my 50k as very much a first draft and there will be a lot of work to do after November. A good reminder for new writers that don’t know how our writing world works yet and how much there is to do between first draft and sending in a manuscript.
