Thank you Michael Buley for your beautiful response. I completely agree. Part of our family motto is “Be kind” and it’s one of the things we value most since my divorce. My father, an ex minister, has written a book about kindness after his many years counselling people (and prior to that, working in mental health nursing) and it really highlighted for me how important kindness is.
