Thanks for bringing up this point. Generally body identical rather than bio-identical HRT types are recommended as body identical HRT are regulated and have to pass rigorous testing and safety requirements. Compounded bio-identical HRT is unregulated so more of a risk. The names are super similar so it is confusing. That's why it's important each person does their own thorough research and uses what they feel comfortable with.
