Thanks for sharing your wonderful messy process! It's really encouraging. I've written 3.5 novels (all unpublished because I'm a nonfiction writer for my day job and the fiction is really just for fun at this point) and each time it feels completely different. I'm a planner with writing, but I love the idea of playing a little more. Sounds fun.
