Yes! I have been telling my girls this for years. I was never a girly girl. I hate window shopping, gossiping, and I don't like to wear lots of makeup or girly frills. I was raised by a solo dad and spent my childhood outdoors covered in mud too. I always had more male friends and still feel more comfortable around men than women--but "woman" doesn't have to mean glitter and pink and girly! I know so many versions of what a woman looks like. You're so right. It doesn't have to look like any ONE thing!
